Safest Craps System

Back to [ Craps Systems ]

The Safest Craps System is a pretty easy one to play. You really need to be a patient player to play this craps system, because it's designed to be extremely safe and thus is very conservative so your bankroll grows at a slow pace. I don't know who original credit goes to, but I came up with this craps system (along with many others) on my own when I became a craps dealer and player. I am sure many craps system players have figured this one out. I have personally used this system at the casinos in Las Vegas.

Safest Craps System

Ok, let's take a look at the world's safest craps system. On each come out roll you place a bet on the don't pass line. For our example, let's use $30 bets. Once a point is established, you place the point for $30. You are now covered and can't lose.

Worst case scenario: You push and get all your money back.

Best case scenario: The point is hit and you win the odds. In our example, if the point was a 5 or 9, you would win $12.

That's all there is to it. Everyone can play this system with ease. The worst moment for this system is the pintail come out roll. If you get past that, it's home free. Let's take a look at some of the pros and cons of this craps system.

Craps System Pros:

  • It's easy to play.
  • Once the point is established, you can't lose.
  • Can be played at any bet level.
  • If you are playing live, you don't need dealer interaction since you can simply place the point on the line.
  • You win one full unit if a 2 or 3 is rolled. The probability of a 2 or 3 being rolled is 8.3%.

Craps System Cons:

  • It's slow so you must exercise patience when using the craps system.
  • You can lose one whole unit on the come out if a 7 or 11 is rolled.
  • The probability of a 7 or 11 being rolled on the come out is 22.2%.
  • The difference between losing and winning on the come out creates a probability of losing on the come out of 13.9%.
  • Winning results in partial units being collected. On a $30 bet, winning on the 6 or 8 will yield a profit of $6, which is 20%.
